Teeswater felted fleece rug, hand felted from a 2020 sheared fleece. This beautiful Teeswater fleece came from a local flock of sheep and was hand sheared using the traditional blade shearing method.
The fleece is very silky and soft, which is probably the reason why it really didn’t want to felt using wet felting. Instead I needle felted this entire fleece to make a unique, natural rug.
A Beautiful fleece that would look great as a bedside rug. Not suitable for heavy traffic areas, as it is natural wool that would felt further under heavy use.
