Wool cowl neck poncho with fringes. Warm and easy to wear – like wearing a wool blanket!

This poncho is handmade using my favourite commercial yarn; Drops Big Delight. It has some wonderful colour combinations and the self striping lengths really lend themselves to looking great in crochet granny trebles.

Made from 100% Peruvian wool. Wool is fully biodegradable, naturally repels dirt and is warm and really easy to care for it you just take a little time.

One size, but to give an indication of fit, the manaquin is a UK size 12/14.

Wool Care Instructions

Wool does not need washing as often as clothes made from man made fibres, as wool naturally repels dirt.

If it does need freshening up:

  • Use a wool soak such as Rapture or Eucalan
  • Soak in cool water with wool soak product
  • Drain water and allow to drain for a little while
  • do NOT wring
  • Wrap in a towel and gently squeeze to get rid of excess water
  • Dry flat away from direct heat
