Handknit Scarf – Lightweight – Chunky Open Stitches

Plain hand knitted scarf, knitted on large 15mm needles for a chunky, modern look. Though chunky looking, this scarf is lightweight, being made from Mohair, with a tiny bit of nylon and acrylic for added strength.
The yarn is hand spun, by myself on my Ashford spinning wheel, then hand dyed, using the kettle dyeing method to produce a lovely combination of green and deep turquoise colours.
The mohair locks give the scarf a lovely lustre and the curly locks give texture, character and warmth.
