Handmade Throw / Blanket – 100% Handspun British Mohair

Beautiful, soft, warm, silky hand crocheted throw in natural off-white and steel grey tones.

This chunky throw is made from my handspun yarn in 100% local Mohair, from an Angora Goat called Dallas. Dallas live in a small fibre only flock in Northamtonshire UK and has prize winning fleece.

A one-off unique throw. I spun the yarn from raw Mohair locks on my traditional spinning wheel. Most is its natural colour, and some is handdyed in lovely steel grey tones.

Mohair is the fleece of the Angora goat. It is a luxury fibre, being very soft, strong and warm. The fleece is clipped in the spring to keep the goat cool in the summer.

Throw measures 130cm x 90cm. Chunky weight.
