My market garden is set in five acres of prime Warwickshire farmland. The land has been managed organically for the last twenty years, mainly being used as grazing land for horses and sheep during that time.
The market garden is evolving continuously and is currently set up for growing four main crops. These have been chosen for their ability to thrive in the location, being well drained fertile soil, which enjoys full sun. For the 2025 growing season I will be concentrating on the following crops:
- Small Bale Hay for Horses (available now)
- Lavender
- Garlic Bulbs and Scapes
- Flowers for Cutting
Produce will be available at local farmers markets once in season, from the farm gate and I will also be trading by narrowboat along the Grand Union and Oxford canals. Market and trading dates will be published nearer the time.
